Contoured Footbed: A soft foot bed covering wraps around a full-length shock absorbing cushion, which is shaped to the natural arches and curves of your foot for comfortable support. The foot bed is contoured so the foot sits into the sandal rather than on top or over the edges.

I bought these shoes more than 12 years ago and they are just now showing a few signs of wear and tear, so on my next visit to San Antonio I am going to buy another pair. Not right for my feet
this shoe has so many amazing reviews I was surprised at how truly uncomfortable it was for my feet. I had high hopes that it would work, and loved the jaunty red color. I needed something a little less casual and more dressy that could look good for work events or social activities. I ordered in my... usual size (5.5w - THANK YOU SAS for offering this sizing option, it's very difficult to fit). However, in this shoe even the W width is extremely narrow. I don't think sizing up or going for a wider width would help - it's something about the shape of the last, it is just incompatible with the shape of my feet, which are sorta duck-shaped - wide at the toes and narrow at the heel. Sad to have to return these, really like how they look and the color options are great.

I love these sandles and would buy them again! They fit my long narrow feet perfectly and the irridescent cream color is just what I was needing for dressy occasions. SAS sandles are the only ones I buy and wear as they fit and last so well. Thanks again, and please keep making them!

When compared with the Caress Sandal, I don't like the more casual mannish style of the Suntimer sandal so I am returning my purchase. The Suntimer looks somewhat like a Fisherman's sandal.and makes my first three toes look much longer and more conspicuous while the last two toes don't show at all. This gives an awkward unbalanced appearance. In contrast, the Caress sandal looks more womanly and much more attractive on your feet. The Caress also gives me the dressier look that I need along with the comfort. Also, you can wear the Caress for casual or dressier occasions. I wish SAS would change it's mind about retiring the Caress. I think it is an option that should be continued.
I discovered SAS shoes about two years ago and now it's all I wear. I have about 15 pairs in various styles and colors and despite flat feet and bunions I can wear these all day without any discomfort. I'm a customer forever!
Birthday gift for my wife. Said she loves the shoes!
