I purchased this shoe in brown several years ago and have hoping the Traveler would be offered in brown again. I would purchase a brown Traveler without any hesitation. Please!

I finally found great shoes for dancing. The sole is not too grippy and lets me pivot without wrenching my knees. The upper is well-made and ties high enough to hold my heel back in place. The toe-box gives room for all my long toes without extra width. My size is normally in between a 10 and 10-1/2, and these 10-1/2 narrow fit me super well.

Best shoe ever for walking, traveling and general comfort

I've worn SAS in 7N for many years. I bought these shoes for a trip and had such discomfort (and a bloody toe) that I had to wear other shoes for the rest of the trip. I've now ordered 7.5N and I'm hoping they will be better.

Wanted to love these shoes, as I have problem feet and needed a lace-up shoe in navy that looked dressier than athletic shoes. Ordered my regular size 9 in wide width but had to exchange for a 9.5, as they seemed to run short. My orthotics fit well in this shoe, but after wearing them for a few days, I realized the shallow depth wasn't providing the support I need – specifically in the heel. I'm keeping them for brief events out, but am disappointed in the fit. Otherwise, as noted by others, a good quality shoe.

I have been wearing SAS shoes for over 40 years; I was first introduced to them by my orthopedic surgeon and purchased them at one of two local shoe stores; both stores have since closed. And now at 90 years old, i am still very active, work 15-20 hours per week doing eligibility/registration/all paperwork for local food pantry. I currently alternate with my beige/navy/black Travelers 7 days a week. I still do have a pair of the black SAS Mary Jane-type with a 1 1/2 inch heel but since I am not as steady on my feet as I once was, I've only worn them twice in two years (both times to a wedding). Over the years I have purchased other shoes but none have been as comfortable nor looked as well with wear as SAS. I don't know if I will need to buy more shoes, but if so, I know where to look for them.
